Summary: WELL WORTH IT!!!
Comment: I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY MOTHER WHO WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WALKING. HER STRENGTH HAS DIMINISHED WITH AGE SO SHE WAS HAVING PROBLEMS STEPPING OVER THE BATH TUB TO GET INTO THE SHOWER. I THOUGHT THIS PRODUCT SEEMED EXPENSIVE BUT DECIDED MY MOTHER'S HEALTH WAS MORE IMPORTANT. I'M AMAZED HOW WELL THIS PRODUCT WORKS. SEEMS LIKE I COULD PULL DOWN THE SHOWER WALL BEFORE IT WOULD EVER RELEASE. IT HAS MADE LIFE FOR MY MOTHER SO MUCH EASIER.

Summary: Overpriced and Didn't Work !!
Comment: I followed the instructions and cleaned my smooth tile wall and both of the rubber suction cups before installing. Twice, the suction cup came undone after 1/2 hour and fell off the wall !!
I have no confidence in this product or a replacement. This could have lead to a dangerous fall in a shower with glass doors ...

Summary: Works well, but costs too much
Comment: I purchased this item and have been using it in my shower as a hand rail. It works as advertised and I am happy with it. However, about a week after I received it I found a similiar product for sale at Walmart for less than $12. I purchased this one for my other shower and find that it works just as well as this more expensive product I purchased online. I could have saved myself some money, if I had been a more diligent shopper.

Comment: I bought this for my mom to help her stand up in the shower. She needs to sit while I bathe her and needed something to grab onto when she stood up. Our shower is fiberglass and we couldn't drill any holes in it to use the conventional shower bars. I have had it in my shower for almost 2 months now and it hasn't moved at all. It's not overly big and bulky. I'm thinking of buying another one so she can use both hands to pull herself up. I think this is a great product.

Comment: It is a good product, however, be sure the size of your bathroom tiles are large enough so there is no gap under the cup. My bathroom tiles are 4", too small for the cup. I have since ordered two of Mommy's Helper Safer Grip 16.5", very happy with the replacements.
